Pressure Washer Thermal Relief Valves

A pressure washer thermal relief valve helps maintain safe temperature levels in your pump system. This prevents damage to your downstream equipment and surfaces being sprayed, while avoiding burns and injury to the user. The thermal valve on a pressure washer is a relatively simple, inexpensive accessory installed in a closed loop bypass line. When the water temperature exceeds the maximum desired temperature, the valve releases some of  the hot water and replaces it with cooler supply water. That lowers the overall temperature of the water and signals the valve to close and allow water to flow as normal. Popular sizes like 1/4" and 3/8" are available, with various GPM ratings and maximum temperatures up to 190 degrees.
